DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY

12th April, 2026 - Scared Heart Church, Semaphore.

2pm Rosary, Chaplet, Prayers and Benediction

3pm Hour of Great Mercy, Mass

Those attending Divine Mercy Sunday celebrations

will be able to shop at our piety stall.

Many items for sale include Rosary Beads, candles and

Chaplets. Prices range from $6 to $35, with half of the proceeds being donated to our Young Adults Program.

If you’re sick or homebound, you're not out of reach of God’s Mercy. The Church has made special compassionate provisions for obtaining a plenary indulgence on

Divine Mercy Sunday by those who cannot go to mass on that day. You can see the celebration of Holy mass on TV, recite the Act of Spiritual Communion, join in with the whole world for the 3pm Divine Mercy Prayer and pray the Healing Prayer.

Act of Spiritual Communion, My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the blessed sacrament. I love you above all things and I desire you in my soul. Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. As though you were already there. I embrace you and unite myself to you: permit not that I should ever be separated from you. Amen.

3pm Divine Mercy Prayer, You expire Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls, and the ocean of Mercy opened up for the whole world. O fount of life,

unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelop the whole world and empty yourself out upon us (1319) (84).

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I Trust In You. (3 times).

Healing Prayer, Jesus may your pure and healthy blood circulate in my ailing organism, and may your pure and healthy body transform my weak body, and may a healthy and vigorous life throb within me, if it is truly your holy will.

(diary 1089).

All are welcome to attend

A message from Fr Josy

We invite you to come and see for yourself how the Lefevre Catholic Community lives in true communion with God and one another. It is a blessing to be here! All are welcome! We are truly blessed and enriched to live our faith as a Eucharistic centred community of love and life. The community demonstrates a particular liveliness of Christian Life and Witness of Faith expressed and nourished through love for God’s word and sacraments.

Pooling our resources together, we seek to build a strong bond between us to be a Eucharistic centred community and a very welcoming community to draw everyone to Christ. As God embraces everyone, Lefevere Catholic Community welcomes every person and consecrates everyone whether young, old, believer, non-believer, healthy or the sick to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary. As many drops together make a vast ocean, every person has a special and unique role to play to build up a strong Eucharistic community at Lefevre.

Welcome to this community of the Eucharist with a special devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary. We are delighted to have you all to feel at home with us and to get involved on our faith journey towards living our Christian vocation and commitment and thus to continue our mission leading others to salvation in God.
