Message from the Pastoral Director, Deacon Tim Grauel

Welcome to the Lefevre Catholic Community.

Where two or three are gathered in Jesus’ name, our Lord promises to be present (Matthew 18.20) — a blessing that rests upon us, even if initially we engage via this website.

The Lefevre Catholic Community is a community of God’s People who share, with all the baptised, in the one mission of proclaiming the Gospel.

The Parish staff and its structures serve the mission that the faithful carry out in society, in family life, in schools, and the workplace.

Following the retirement of Fr Roderick O’Brien (Parish Priest) in May 2024, Archbishop Patrick O’Regan appointed me as Pastoral Director of the Lefevre Catholic Community.

Fr Dean Marin (Vicar General) was also appointed as Priest Moderator to assist me in my responsibilities for the day-to-day pastoral care and administration of the Parish.

We are grateful that a number of retired Priests are supporting the Parish in the celebration of Masses.

The Lefevre Catholic Community looks forward to the appointment of a new Parish Priest in coming months.

May you and your family know the blessing of God’s nearness, now and always.

Deacon Tim
